On arriving for your first visit, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff. Hopefully you’ll have already completed your paperwork before arriving, but if you haven’t, don’t worry! We’ll have some on hand for you to fill in.
You’ll then be met by one of our Chiropractic Assistants (CA’s) who will take you through some general information and complete postural and movement tests in one of our private consultation rooms, before introducing you to one of our Chiropractors, Dr James Cobb, Dr Tom Terrell, or Dr Susannah Gilder

Firstly, we want to find out about you. Your Chiropractor will take time to discuss your health goals and concerns, take a thorough health history and perform a thorough chiropractic examination, to determine if we can help. If we can, we’ll let you know right away. If we can’t we’ll do everything we can to help you find who may be able to help.
If X-rays are required, you’ll be referred to a local radiology centre where your X-rays can be bulk-billed via Medicare. Our preferred radiology provider is Hunter Imaging in Adamstown, where we have access to the latest full-spine imaging technology – EOS Scanning.
Our Staff will help you with your payment for this visit. We have HICAPS available for instant claims if you are a health fund member. They will also arrange your follow-up appointment to go over your results and recommendations. The whole process takes around one hour.
On your next visit your chiropractor will go over your exam results, as well as discussing the health goals you hope to achieve through chiropractic care – relief, stabilize an underlying problem or getting your spine and nerve system back to optimum function. The choice is yours. Your chiropractor will then outline the best plan to get you where you want to be with the least time and expense. Details such as the likely number of visits required and costs involved will be discussed up-front.
